GPS
The availability and use of Global Positioning Satellite (GPS) technology has emerged in the environmental sector and is quickly showing its value. Use of GPS surveying technology adds an additional level of accuracy to assessments and evaluations. Newkirk Environmental, Inc. has made use of our Trimble Pro-XR mapping grade surveyor to verify approximate wetland boundaries during photographic interpretations and to locate threatened and endangered species habitats.
