Mitigation Banks

Owning and operating commercial mitigation banks is a significant part of our business. Newkirk Environmental established Vandross Bay Mitigation Bank in 1992 as the first commercial mitigation bank in South Carolina. Since the mid 1990's, we have owned or joint ventured, obtained state and federal approvals and operated seven commercial mitigation banks serving South Carolina and Georgia.
