Wetland delineations are almost always required for projects affecting raw land. Obtaining a timely and accurate delineation of wetlands is a critical component to any development plan. Newkirk Environmental Inc. has nine U.S. Army Corps of Engineers approved wetland delineators on staff. Collectively their experience exceeds more than 100,000 acres of land. Our staff has a strong relationship with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers field staff and maintains a thorough working knowledge of current criteria and regulations through their work with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and continuing educational courses. The term wetland delineation encompasses several types of surveys ranging from approximations based upon available resources to comprehensive field surveys based upon federally defined criteria. Newkirk Environmental Inc. maintains a significant archive of aerial photographs and natural resources mapping tools to enable accurate assessments of wetlands at every survey level.
