Ken Hance

Ken has been in the industry since 1981 with a focus on environmental planning, permitting, resource management and coastal zone management issues. Prior to joining Newkirk Environmental Inc., Ken was employed as Regional Permit Administrator of the Myrtle Beach Office of the SC Coastal Council for eight years. He has dealt extensively with state and federal regulatory agencies on a wide variety of permitting projects and issues and also has extensive experience developing, permitting, implementing and operating mitigation banks in South Carolina and Georgia.
When he isn’t working, Ken enjoys spending time with his wife Jayne, their two sons Bradley and David, and their daughter-in-law Sara. Spending most of his free time outdoors, Ken is an avid boater, hiker, hunter and fisherman.
